The Crazy Pig

This is an easy activity to make with your children and involves many aspects of development fine motor skills and creativity.  Draw with your child a circle to mimic the body of a pig, with ears, paws, and basic nose.

Under your supervision, let your child cut with child-safe scissors different shapes of color paper or old magazines, no matter what kind of shapes.  The cutting activity is good for a preschooler to master fine motor skills.

Basic Pig figure -
supervise your child while cutting color paper

After cutting the different pieces, let him glue them inside the pig in the way he or she wants it.

Let them glue the pieces anyway he or she wants

Provide some crayons, markers or water color after the glue process.   I've added a surprise for them: wiggly eyes or crazy eyes to give life to the Pig.  They were enchanted by this little surprise.

Now, you can cut the Pig around for your child, and make it a mask or an animal in a stick to play with during the day.  Awesome piece that will entertain your child, and keep him busy while developing important skills.
Welcome the Crazy Pig to the Family!

With the wiggly eyes and the adult help,
this can be a funny playful mask.
